Work with the Sr. Network and Security Engineer and Cybersecurity Manager on the strategic roadmap on Infrastructure security, Network Security, Application Security, End Point Security management group wide.
Assist in driving regionally assigned IT security and Network projects.
Assist in planning, deploying and managing Network and Perimeter network security devices and establishments.
Assist in IT Infrastructure security by providing advisory and consultation support to all lines of businesses.
Assist in Cloud, Network, Application, DNS, End Point security on assigned tasks to the network security team.
Participate in security technologies evaluation and produce recommendation proposals for adoption.
Support audit and other regulatory enquiries across the businesses.
Propose enhancements to existing solutions that are aligned to both operational and business.
Identify gaps and propose enhancements to existing solutions, policies, standards and procedures.
Exhibit proactiveness in identifying gaps and issues with proposed resolutions
Accountable in ensuring assigned tasks/projects/assignments are delivered as planned.
Work with Network Security, Server, Database and Application development teams on Information security matters.
Work with country IT teams on Network downtime collection and prepare KPI reports for uptime committed with customer(s).
Work with Network Security / ServerOps teams for vendor management, Supplier evaluation, supplier addition / removal to procurement system and purchasing.
Work with country Business analysts for user access review matters quarterly and manage access review records.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology / computer engineering.
At least three years experience in supporting large organizations with a focus on IT security.
Hands-on experience in IT security domains is required this includes a good understanding of the platform, database, mobility and network security principles, and an advantageous underlying technical mechanism.
Experience with automation and scripting is advantageous (PowerShell / Python)
Knowledge of Cloud computing is essential.
Experience in assisting with the IT security projects, ensuring deliverables are met according to plan schedule/requirements, on time, and within budget.
Must have some basic project management experience.
Professional Certifications: CCNA / NSE4 / CEH / CDPSE is preferred.
Understanding and or experience on SSL / TSL / IPsec and other secure communication / connectivity matters.
Understanding and/or experience on SIEM & SOAR concepts.
Understanding and/or experience on Honey Pots / Honey Networks concepts.
Understanding and/or experience on Open Threat Intelligence concepts and their integration into security devices / products.
Understanding and/or experience of Unified Threat Management systems.
Understanding and/or experience on Security frameworks such as ISO27001/ NIST 800- 53 / COBIT / PCI-DSS etc.,
