Job Description
Responsible for general administration, coordination, and execution of a variety of finance functions including but not limited to the following: -
- Process Accounts Payable, including staff claim and withholding tax submission
- Process Accounts Receivable
- Posting of journal entries
- Manage grant claim submission
- Follow up on items in Balance sheet
- Assist in Financial Month End & Financial Year End closing matters
- Support grant certification audit and statutory audit
- Perform ad hoc reporting, data extraction, reconciliation and tracking as requested by the supervisor
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualifications.
- Entry-level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior accounting experience is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge in SAP would be advantageous
- Meticulous and able to work independently.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to start work immediately/as soon as possible.
