Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Team Leader and Job Captain in the performance of their duties
- Supervise the other design drafting team
- Ensure quality and accuracy of designs
- Ensure compliance with project Design Criteria/Client Brief/Approved Concept
- Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and office standards
- Attend and participate in design meetings
- Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board.
- Entry level with some consultancy internship experience are welcome to apply
- 3 years and above design experience in consultancy firm would be advantageous
- Must have prior hands-on design experience in the design of ACMV, Fire and Hydraulic services for large scale building projects
- Experience in Rail and infrastructure projects and data centre an advantage
- Experience in designing data center projects
- Proficient in seismic design methods for building equipment.
- Experience designing base-isolated structures with isolation layer displacements exceeding 500 mm.
Additional Requirements:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be fully familiar with local and international codes
- Hands-on experience with relevant engineering software and BIM
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have a good understanding of unit costs of the MEP services in various types of projects
