Responsibilities
You will be part of a team that undertakes the planning and development of policies on green buildings and energy efficiency. You will assist in the development and implementation of green building initiatives to achieve the 80-80-80 goals in 2030 under the Singapore Green Building Masterplan.
You will be involved in:
Formulating and implementing green building policies such as solarisation for the Built Environment sector
Developing, administering funding support to drive green buildings and electrification such as Energy Efficiency Grants for constrution sector
Developing, reviewing and enhancing mitigation measures to drive BE sector decarbonisation towards net zero in 2050
[What we are looking for]
In addition, you will also administer incentive schemes on green building and energy efficiency, and engage industry stakeholders, agencies and experts as part of the development work.
Requirements
Degree in the built environment discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with sustainability policies and/or green building technologies experience.
Strong analytical, communication and writing skills, with knowledge and experience in managing and analysing large data sets to support policymaking.
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive mindset with a keen interest in research and innovation, including staying ahead of industry trends.
Have a passion for the environment and aspire to play a part in the decarbonisation of the built environment for Singapore.
