Job Description

  1. Education Requirement
    Master's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
  2. Language Requirement
    - English: business proficiency
    - Japanese (advantageous)
    Many of our key clients are Japanese corporations whose representatives may prefer communication in Japanese. Candidates with the capability will have many opportunities to read, write, and communicate in Japanese.
  3. Professional Qualifications (advantageous)
    Registered Architect in Singapore, Indonesia or Japan

    - AutoCAD
    - dobe InDesign
    - SketchUp
    - Adobe Photoshop
    - Rhino + Vray, Grasshopper

  6. Required Experiences
    - Minimum 12 years of professional experience as an architect / architectural designer
    - Strong architectural design capability and solid knowledge of the real estate and construction industries, demonstrated through a comprehensive portfolio
    - Proven professional experience managing complex and demanding projects
    - Highly valued experience in the following project types:
    Office Buildings, Commercial Facilities, Residential Buildings, Hospitality Facilities, Logistics/Factories, Supper High-rise Buildings, Large-scale Mix-use Developments, Public Facilities, Transit-Oriented Development, Master Planning
    - Experience studying and/or working in an international organization
    - Experience and strong understanding of business protocol and market practices in Southeast Asia
    - Experience with BIM/Revit-based projects (advantageous)
    - Experience liaising with authorities and familiarity with local codes, regulations, and approval processes in Southeast Asia (desirable)
    - Experience providing technical supervision and advice on master planning, architectural design, construction, and selection of consultants/designers/contractors in real estate development project
  7. Job Scope
    (1) Management:
    Plan, coordinate, schedule and manage project deliverables, including quality control and overall design management from feasibility and concept stages through construction.

    (2) Business Development Support:
    Utilize high design literacy to create impactful design proposals and presentation materials that enhance client engagement and help drive business opportunities in the Southeast Asia and other key markets.

    (3) Technical Review and Advisory:
    Provide expert advice on urban planning, architectural planning, architectural design, engineering, coordination and liaison with consultants and authorities. Review design deliverables to ensure technical quality and regulatory compliance.

    (4) Professional Guidance:
    Lead, mentor and provide professional guidance to junior colleagues and the architectural design team.

    (5) Reporting and Coordination:
    Report to and coordinate with senior colleagues and Tokyo Headquarters as needed, including matters related to project status, technical issues, business development and any other matters related to work.

    (6) Other Duties:
    Perform any other duties assigned by the Employer from time to time.
