Executive, Finance Systems & Services (Financial Planning Systems)

You will join the Financial Systems and Services (Statutory Boards) Directorate, which drives the strategic development of Future Finance by managing the consolidation and implementation of Statutory Boards finance and payroll systems onto Cumulus, a central cloud-based HR, finance and payroll system currently used by 43 Statutory Boards.

Job Description:

The candidate is responsible for the following:

• Assist to support user engagement workshops for the implementation of a new Financial Planning system, including collaborating with users to gather design requirements

• Assist with system continuous improvement through Change Requests and new feature release testing

• Assist with the maintenance of master data in the Workday system and perform budgetary operations to ensure budget completeness for agency budgetary planning and controls.

• Organize and update project documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.

Gain opportunities to understand how system workflows and controls can be built to meet the budget and planning requirements of our agency users, including exposure to the full project implementation cycle.

Functional/Technical Competencies

• Interest in Ops-Tech roles

• Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance, IT, Systems or related disciplines

• Understanding of finance processes and experience with related systems as well as system implementation will be advantageous.

Generic Competencies

• Good communication and presentation skills.

Contract duration: 6 months contract, with option to extend for another 6 months

Location: High Street

Working Arrangement:
Monday to Thursday: 9am - 6.30pm
Friday: 9am - 6.00pm
(Flexi hours can be arranged with reporting officer)

Salary: $15 to $16 per hour
