Executive, Finance (AR & GL) (12 months contract) (Based in Singapore)

The Role

This position will support the supervisor within the assigned team in the Finance Department of Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT).

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure timely closing of full set of accounts, including preparation of schedules and management reports, variance analysis of accounts, bank reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Check and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and supported in accounting system and file on timely manner.
• Be involved in the preparation of financial statements for audit, handling tax matters, budgeting and forecast, perform credit reviews for potential tenants and suppliers.
• Ensure that all financial records are in compliance with respective local regulatory requirements, internal control requirements, as well as finance policies and procedures.
• Liaise with overseas finance team, inter-department, auditors, and external parties when required.
• Other ad-hoc assignments when required.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Qualified accountant with a Degree in Accounting or its equivalent in Finance / Economics.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in finance operations.
• Someone who is hands-on with good eyes for details, able to communicate effectively to various parties and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software is a pre-requisite and experience with an SAP system would be advantageous.
• Candidates with prior working experience in REITS or public listed companies will have an added advantage.
