Job Description
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, timely financial reporting, statutory compliance, treasury activities, and supporting the organization's audit, and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
. Handle the full set of accounts and month-end/year-end closing for assigned services.
. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, financial schedules, and monthly management reports.
. Maintain accurate and complete financial records and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.Perform monthly reconciliations and review accounting entries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
. Support the preparation of year-end accounts and coordinate with external auditors and internal audits.
. Support financial audits by preparing schedules, supporting documents and other information required.
. Manage grant utilisation reporting and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
. Assist with cash flow monitoring and financial planning.
. Adhere to the finance SOPs, policies, and internal controls.
. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
. Partner with service teams and stakeholders on financial and operational matters.
. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
. Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Job Requirements
. Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
. Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
. Experience in full-set accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit.
. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
. Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
. Experience in the charity, social service, healthcare, or non-profit sector is an advantage
