Executive/Executive Assistant, Underwriting

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and determine the coverage position
• Provide preliminary evaluations to the underwriting team on new business opportunities and renewals
• First point of contact for assigned clients and business partners/intermediaries in service delivery
• Support daily operations in the underwriting department
• Co-ordinate with the underwriting team and intermediaries to identify potential business opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree ideally from a numerical/technical discipline such as Management/Business Studies, Accountancy, Engineering, Economics, Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics
• Prior exposure to non-life re/insurance industry is an added bonus
• Candidates without a degree but with relevant re/insurance experience are also welcome
• SCI certifications are required for this position those without the necessary certifications will be provided with sponsorship
• Actual job title and underwriting line will entirely depend on the candidate's professional experience
• Salary will commensurate with the candidate's experience and the salary range stated in this job posting is only a guide
