Duties and Responsibilities
1. Volunteer Management & Engagement
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, coordination and deployment of volunteers.
- Plan and conduct volunteer engagement activities to foster meaningful participation.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, attendance, participation and engagement data.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with schools, corporations, community groups and individual volunteers.
- Support volunteer appreciation, recognition and retention initiatives.
- Gather volunteer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the volunteer experience.
2. Donor Management & Engagement
- Support the cultivation, engagement and stewardship of donors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, donation information and correspondence.
- Manage donor communications, acknowledgements, thank-you letters, receipts and other activities.
- Assist in identifying and developing new donor and community partnership opportunities.
3. Programme Coordination & Admin Support
- Coordinate and support resident activities and programmes involving donors, volunteers and community partners.
- Manage the necessary documentation, logistics and administrative processes for donor and volunteer-related activities, as well as other departmental administrative requirements.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure programmes and activities are well-coordinated, adequately supported and aligned with operational requirements.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a manner that prioritises the safety, dignity, well-being and needs of residents.
4. Communications & Relationship Building
- Support the sharing of resident, volunteer and donor stories to demonstrate the impact of community support.
- Build positive and professional relationships with stakeholders and represent Bright Hill Evergreen Home appropriately.
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE O-Level or Diploma in related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in community engagement, partnerships, event coordination or volunteer management, preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to connect with diverse group of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with MS Office, collaboration tools and digital social platforms.
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.
- Able to work on evenings, weekends or Public Holidays as and when required.
