RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle enquiries and correspondence of motor claims
• Investigate and negotiate on motor claims
• Decide and instruct on appointment of service providers
• Decide and instruct on reserve provision
• Handle claims recoveries
• Review claim files including setting of reserves and monitoring of recoveries
• Complaints handling
• Undertaking any other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary education
• Relevant qualifications in general insurance

OTHER INFORMATION

• Claims handling experience in motor insurance
• Motor insurance knowledge
• Technical knowledge of underwriting including reinsurance
• Claims technical know how
• Analytical skills
• Communication skills
• Negotiation skills
