[What the role is]
Provide administrative, operational, and logistical support for overseas education and learning programmes in the Centre for Student Support & International Relations (CSSIR).
[What you will be working on]
- Assist with the procurement of Overseas Education and Learning Trips to ASEAN, China and India, including preparing requirement specifications and evaluation of quotes and itineraries
- Assist with the operations and logistics such as checking of students and staff's information for flight ticketing purpose, preparation of name lists and trip details, purchase of group travel insurance
- Liaison with travel agents for trip purposes
- Tracking of completion rates for pre- and post-trip surveys and assist in compiling survey responses for further analysis
- Assist in the audit of post-trip closure reports
- Assist in logistics of hosting of overseas visitors and participants for Inbound programmes
- Assist in inventory management and issuance of corporate inventories to trip leaders
- Assist in inbound student programmes and engagements with overseas students
- Assist in data analysis on the Overseas Programmes Administration System (OPAS)
- Ad Hoc duties as needed
[What we are looking for]
- Experience in similar or related area is preferred
- Proactive, strong administrative and coordination skills with attention to details.
- Good interpersonal, communications (oral & written) skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, adept at problem-solving and analysis
- Strong IT literacy and versatile in spreadsheet tools.
