[What the role is]
BeyondReality Studio features a unique 3-in-1 setup of motion capture, green screen, and LED volume virtual production[What you will be working on]
. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within the Beyond Reality Studio, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) experiences.
. Provide administrative and logistical support for studio activities, workshops, and events.
. Manage and maintain studio equipment, software, and resources, ensuring their optimal functionality and availability.
. Support faculty and students in the development and implementation of immersive technology projects.
. Conduct research and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in VR, AR, and MR.
. Assist in creating and curating engaging content for the studio's portfolio and outreach efforts.
. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster partnerships and promote the studio's capabilities.
. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to studio operations and project progress.
. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the Beyond Reality Studio and Nanyang Polytechnic.
[What we are looking for]
. Relevant qualification in Digital Media (Animation, Games or Visual Effects), Film Production, Computer Science, or equivalent.
. Demonstrated abilities in Unreal Engine, Virtual Production, Film Production, Animation, Games Development or Visual Effects.
. Familiarity with XR, VR, AR technologies is a plus.
. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to document studio activities, schedules and projects.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
. Ability to learn and work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
