About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive to join our Banknotes Centre team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering quality customer service while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in cash handling practices. You will play a vital part in managing Singapore Dollars and foreign currency operations, adhering to the Bank's policies and guidelines, and contributing to team success through collaboration and support.
What you will be doing
- Provide quality and efficient customer service at all times
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in cash handling practices without compromise
- Comply strictly with the Bank's policy and guidelines in cash handling
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Customer Service
- Show confidence in dealing with customers in different situations
- Build rapport with customers by providing a positive experience consistently
- Manage customer expectations by offering appropriate support and solutions
Operational
- Manage Singapore Dollars & foreign currency float effectively and accurately
- Perform Teller duties including collection/disbursement of SGD and foreign currency notes, bulk check, and packing of notes
- Perform cash processing including fine counting and packing of SGD and foreign currency notes
- Ensure accurate transaction validations are performed
- Maintain accurate daily cash holding balances
- Perform daily checks on foreign currency stock holdings
- Handle other ad hoc duties as assigned
Compliance
- Adhere strictly to Bank and Department policies and guidelines to ensure tasks are carried out properly

- Assist colleagues to achieve team goals by offering support and advice
- Encourage and promote teamwork within the team
What we're looking for
- Diploma qualification
- 25 years relevant experience in money changing or branch operations, especially in remittance, cash, and foreign currencies
- Pleasant disposition with excellent service aptitude
- Meticulous, able to multi-task, and uphold high integrity
- Amiable, independent, reliable, efficient, willing to learn, and able to work under pressure
