Role Overview

The Executive Assistant to the CEO is a trusted partner to the CEO, providing high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support. This role goes beyond calendar management and requires strong business judgment, confidentiality, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated, fast-paced fintech environment.

You will work closely with senior leadership, Board members, regulators, and external partners, ensuring the CEO's time and priorities are optimally managed while enabling smooth execution of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Business Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO, managing communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and priorities across multiple time zones.
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, presentations, and follow-ups for leadership meetings, Board meetings, and investor sessions.
  • Track key action items and ensure timely execution across leadership and functional teams.

Stakeholder & Board Coordination

  • Coordinate Board meetings, committees, and governance-related activities, including logistics, materials preparation, and minutes where required.
  • Liaise professionally with Board members, investors, regulators, partners, and senior executives.
  • Support confidential and sensitive communications with a high level of discretion and judgment.

Strategic & Project Support

  • Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional workstreams as assigned by the CEO.
  • Assist in tracking business priorities, OKRs, and leadership deliverables.
  • Conduct basic research, data compilation, and analysis to support decision-making.

Operations & Administration

  • Manage travel planning, visas, expense claims, and related logistics.
  • Help improve internal processes, documentation, and ways of working within the CEO's office.
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks as required in a startup environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff (junior), or Senior Administrative role supporting C-suite leaders.
  • Prior experience in fintech, financial services, payments, technology, or regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Board-level stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Mandarin is a strong advantage for regional stakeholder engagement).
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, get-things-done mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

Personal Attributes

  • Detail-oriented yet able to think ahead and anticipate needs.
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and highly accountable.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership.

Why Join MetaComp

  • Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic and high-impact initiatives.
  • Exposure to regional fintech, payments, and regulatory environments.
  • Fast-growing company with real ownership and learning opportunities.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and execution-driven culture.
