Executive Adjuster - Major Complex Loss
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team managing insurance claims primarily for reinsurance and regional insurance clients across Asia
- Undertakes site visits, inspecting damage/ loss where necessary, both locally and overseas
- The ability to negotiate claims settlements in line with client contracts
- Responds to insureds, carriers & brokers in a timely manner within Sedgwick KPI framework
- Contributes to the maintenance of best practice procedures for Major and Complex claims, consistent with Sedgwick's quality standards and best practice
- Assist with development of Sedgwick's regional MCL capability
- Drive SLAs and KPIs and achieve key performance targets and best practice
- Develop and build client relationships, partnerships, associations and alliances to align with profitable growth of Sedgwick's regional business
- Be a core part of Sedgwick's Catastrophe first response team
- mentor both overseas adjusting teams and junior adjusters throughout Asia as part of Sedgwick's Protg program
- Ensure technical accuracy and produce reports of highest quality
Requirements
- Insurance or other technical qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience within a similar adjusting role including the management of major losses
- Has proven experience in the management of claim stakeholders at all levels
- Pobsess thorough in depth knowledge of the handling of major/ complex commercial property or casualty claims,
- Ability to handle losses in excess of US$1,000,000 exposure
- Preferably has experience within the Asian market

Education/ Qualification
Minimum bachelor degree or holds insurance certifications
(i.e ANZIIF, AICLA etc).
