Execution Trader

We are currently partnering with a Singapore based investment management firm and they are seeking an Execution Trader to join theirteam in Singapore.

They are seeking a driven individual with Japanese language proficiency and a strong interest in financial markets to join their buy-side trading desk. This role offers structured training and mentorship, providing a clear pathway to develop expertise in trade execution while working closely with portfolio managers to support investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with portfolio managers, brokers, and fellow traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of equity, futures, and custom basket trades across various markets.
• Monitor risk limits and ensure all trades are executed within defined parameters.
• Prepare monthly market analysis reports for investors.
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• At least 1 to 3 years of experience in financial markets . Fresh grads with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply too.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency preferred. Candidates with JLPT N1/N2/N3/N4 certification and demonstrated commitment to improving their Japanese language skills will also be considered.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Experience with programming tools (i.e., VBA, Python, and/or SQL (advantage)
