Excecutive Chef

We are an Italian Inspired cafe in the midst of expanding and we are in need of a leader and passionate individual who will be able to guide our team!

You are expected to treat this business like your own and to plan for all change in menus, liaise with suppliers and source for the best ingredients which are more cost effective as well.

You will also need to guide your Head Chef and his team is achieving sales targets and kitchen targets like wastage cost and COGS targets.

Hiring will also come under your purview and you are expected to control all kitchen labour costs. Sourcing for the right candidate and interviewing them as well.

Full time salary from: $7000 - 10000 per month, depending on experience

You must have the following criteria:

- have at least 5 yeas experience in a European, Western or Italian kitchen

- have at least 2 years experience in leading a team

- have good knowledge and skill in hand made pizzas, pastas, grills

- have patience in teaching

- take charge of inventory cost control

- plan for new menu items

- Work out costs for labour & inventory for all outlets

- Work closely with the individual outlet chefs and ensuring they meet all budgets and not burst it

- Ensure all SOPs have been followed at all outlets and quality checks to be done by you. To send all reports to HQ
