Job Description
Being a social enterprise, City Sprouts believes in bringing people together and inspiring communities through shared green spaces, nature appreciation and sustainability education. Our mission is to reconnect individuals with nature, introduce new experiences, and cultivate meaningful connections between people and their environment.
City Sprouts adopts an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, focusing on adaptive reuse of underutilised spaces nestled within heartlands and residential districts. Our sites include our flagship farm at Henderson (the former Henderson Secondary School), Punggol sheltered structures featuring green roofs and upcycled shipping containers, City Sprouts @ West Coast Park, our Pasir Ris hub within the former Loyang Primary School, and an upcoming site in Pasir Ris Park targeted for completion by end-2026.
In our day-to-day operations, we design and deliver programmes, workshops and events that encourage nature engagement, sustainable living and food awareness, while strengthening social resilience and addressing social isolation. In line with Singapore's 2035 food resilience goals, City Sprouts aims to empower communities to grow their own food and support local producers.
