The Events & Special Projects Manager will support the development, implementation and management of Tiffany & Co South Asia Pacific brand and client events. These include major regional events, store openings, Press/Client events and presentations, and other non-store-based event initiatives. This role will report to Director, Client Relations, matrix report to Director, Communications and work in close partnership with Director, High Jewelry and their organizations.
They will be resourceful and creative with great taste and a key ally to the regional and in-country teams in creating unique and memorable experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities
Project Management & Production

  • Project manage and seamlessly coordinate aspects of the event production & staging process
  • Specifically in the areas of creative concepts, set design, venue sourcing, site applications, logistical & technical planning and arrangements, show programming, F&B service, and all other operations duties and coordination
  • Lead on interdisciplinary projects for events which span Client Relations, Communications and CVM
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Central on event concepts with regards to receiving guidelines, adaptation, sample materials and photos
  • 3rd Party liaisons with agencies and all other relevant partners
  • Agency management, evaluating the appointed contractors / services suppliers and ensure feedback and learning is adopted
  • Sourcing and managing relationships with vendors with a high taste level appropriate to the Tiffany aesthetic
  • Advise on technical proposal for open tenders invitation, actively contribute in the process of negotiation and appointment and review of supplier database
  • Budget Management

Vendor Management

  • Execution of all regional events and special projects, undertaking the leadership role of coordinating vendors and other related stakeholders
  • Ensure vendor services are delivered in accordance to their scope, roles and responsibilities

Performance & Analysis

  • Monitor the performance of the events share analytical and feedback report to President South Asia Pacific
  • Assist with post event analysis, learnings and sharing of best practices
  • Review the regional calendar of brand and client events, scheduling, resources and versus intel vs our competitors launches/events


Qualifications

  • 10 years experience in Luxury Retail and expert in Events
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the luxury market
  • Solid experience to execute different types and scale of events
  • Creative, detail oriented and focused
  • Ability to grasp concepts and new ways of doing things quickly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and to work independently
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to deliver quality work under tight working timeline and to manage vendors effectively.
  • Creative and open to new ideas
