Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and high-performing Manager, Partnerships & Events (1 Year Contract) to join DP World APAC Communications, based in Singapore. This role plays a key leadership position in the execution delivery of major partnerships, sponsorship activations, and customer engagement events across APAC.

This role reports to the Director, Partnerships & Events (APAC), who sets the strategic direction and regional priorities. The Manager is responsible for translating direction into structured delivery plans, driving governance and execution excellence, managing complex multi-market delivery, and ensuring strong commercial enablement through disciplined ROI tracking, CRM hygiene and post-event follow-through.

This role requires excellent stakeholder management across commercial teams, Communications Centres of Excellence, global stakeholders, agencies, rights holders and vendors.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the coordination and delivery of key APAC events and partnership activations, managing timelines, approvals, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Maintain detailed operational trackers and planning documents to provide clear visibility and structured updates for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics across venues, suppliers, travel, production, and onsite activities to ensure smooth and consistent execution.
  • Assist with partnership activation tasks, including entitlements tracking, guest experience support, brand usage checks, and agency coordination.
  • Prepare core event materials such as runofshow documents, briefs, operational plans, stakeholder packs, and eventday checklists.
  • Support commercial teams with guest management processes (invites, confirmations, attendance tracking) and help capture postevent engagement and ROI data.
  • Assist in campaign localisation efforts and consolidate key activation metrics in collaboration with Digital, Social, and Brand teams.
  • Coordinate content capture and provide inputs for internal and external communications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
  • Support the governance and delivery of APAC merchandise and gifting programmes, including vendor coordination, quality checks, inventory tracking, and deployment.
  • Manage administrative and operational governance such as budgeting support, supplier coordination, financial workflows, risk tracking, and postevent reporting.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Events Management or related field
  • 5-8 years experience in events delivery/execution, commercial partnerships strategy, partnerships activation, sponsorships, hospitality programmes, customer engagement or integrated brand activations (regional exposure preferred)
  • Proven experience coordinating complex programmes across multiple stakeholders (including agencies, suppliers, rights holders and internal teams). Agency experience a plus
  • Strong delivery governance and project management capability, including operational planning, risk mitigation, run-of-show control, and structured reporting
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial engagement programmes, including guest engagement planning, disciplined follow-up processes and structured tracking of engagement outcomes/ROI indicators (CRM exposure is an advantage)
  • Strong budget discipline and governance experience, including invoicing workflows, supplier benchmarking/cost comparisons, and vendor performance tracking
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional Asian languages are an advantage
