Our client is an event production company specialising in large-scale events, sports, exhibitions and immersive experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering large-scale events from concept to completion with a strong focus on sports productions. You need to be hands-on within the role to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop event concepts, timelines and execution strategies
- Create detailed project schedules and operational plans
- Manage project budgets and cost tracking
- Ensure projects remain profitable and within budget
- Liaise with clients, sponsors and associations.
- Coordinate with vendors, venue operators, and suppliers
- Oversee venue overlay (staging, seating, branding structures)
- Manage AV, lighting, staging, and production requirements
- Lead onsite teams and operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time issues
- Ensure smooth delivery of live events
- Prepare financial reconciliation and project reports
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Events Management, Business or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in event or production management
- Experience in large-scale or sports events is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of venue operations, staging, AV and lighting
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
