We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Event Partnership & Sponsorship Manager to lead the commercial partnership strategy for a major Legal Technology Conference and Exhibition we are organising.
This is a key 6-month contract role where you will own the sponsorship function from strategy to fulfilment. You will leverage a strong foundation of past sponsors and warm leads to secure high-value partnerships and ensure exceptional delivery, contributing directly to the event's commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship Strategy & Development: Analyse past performance and market trends. Collaborate with the Project Director and client to refine existing and develop compelling new sponsorship packages that drive revenue.
Pipeline & Partnership Management: Take ownership of a qualified pipeline, including past sponsors and warm leads. Conduct professional outreach, persuasive presentations, and negotiations to build and secure strategic partnerships.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently present sponsorship value propositions to senior decision-makers in the legal and tech sectors, focusing on building long-term relationship value.
Sponsor Fulfilment & Coordination: Meticulously track all sponsor entitlements. Act as the central liaison, ensuring flawless communication and execution across all internal teams (marketing, logistics, operations).
Reporting & Collaboration: Provide clear, data-driven updates on sponsorship status and pipeline health during regular team and client meetings. Report directly to the Project Director and collaborate with a core team of 8 specialists.
Who We Are Looking For:
Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in event sponsorship sales or B2B event partnership management.
Experience in the legal, technology, or professional services conference sector is a strong advantage.
A polished professional with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging with senior management.
Highly organised with superior project management skills and an impeccable eye for detail.
A proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, agency-style team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite experience with CRM systems is a plus.
