Job Description

The Event Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery and a high-quality experience for clients and attendees.

This role focuses on operational excellence, covering logistics planning, vendor coordination, budgeting, and on-site management. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to translate event concepts into well-executed experiences, while maintaining strict control over timelines, costs, and quality standards. The role also requires strong problem-solving capabilities to manage real-time challenges during events and to implement contingency plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

. Plan and manage all operational aspects of events, including physical, virtual, and hybrid formats

. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, andrun sheets

. Oversee venue setup, technical production, and event-day coordination

. Ensure smooth execution from pre-event preparation to post-event wrap-up

. Source, evaluate, and manage external vendors such as caterers, production teams, and logistics providers

. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met

. Serve as the main point of contact for clients,partners, and internal stakeholders

. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on event deliverables

. Prepare, manage, and track event budgets

. Monitor expenses and ensure cost efficiencywithout compromising quality

. Provide financial reporting and post-event budget reconciliation

. Lead and supervise event staff, contractors,and volunteers

. Assign roles and responsibilities clearly across the team

. Provide on-site leadership and decision-making during events

. Conduct post-event reviews and identify areas for improvement

. Identify operational risks and develop contingency plans

. Ensure compliance with local regulations,permits, and safety standards

. Implement crowd control measures and emergency response protocols

. Track event performance using key metrics suchas attendance, satisfaction, and ROI

. Prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations

. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and attendee experience
