Reporting to the marketing lead for APAC, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for localizing and executing the APAC marketing strategy and plan with focus on events building the most compelling events strategy, experience, and engagement. This is a crucial role within the team to localize our marketing and driving demand generation across the events channel.

It is a permanent full-time role based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build & optimize the events experience and processes across APAC
  • Execute the event marketing plan for APAC, based on the APAC Marketing strategy and plan.
  • Report on the impact of events in terms of leads, opportunities, cost per lead, cost per opportunity and the overall return on marketing events investment.

Skills

  • Fluency in English (written & spoken).
  • Good understanding of the right and most effective event marketing mix and channels in APAC, including email, web, social media, search, and display.
  • Events and conferences management.
  • Digital savviness in terms of executing events over different tools and channels.
  • Experience with CRM (e.g. salesforce), marketing, and social media tools is an advantage (e.g. Pardot, LinkedIn and Sitefinity).
  • Persuasive communication and people skills - written and verbal.
  • Propensity to respond to deadlines ahead of schedule.
  • Meticulous and analytical with strong planning skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience collaborating with external partners and suppliers.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
  • PC proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, business, or related fields is desirable.
  • A master's degree in marketing or related fields is an advantage.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in marketing, preferably in a similar position and within a global organization.
  • Basic knowledge of B2B marketing.
  • Previous experience in a technology SaaS company would be a great advantage, ideally in the financial services/legal sectors.
  • Candidates must have full eligibility to work in Singapore or Hong Kong without any restrictions.
