Event Manager, Singapore MICE Forum ( 4 months Contract)

The Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS) is the national trade association for Singapore's Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. With over 45 years of proven dedication, SACEOS brings together industry leaders, innovators and partners to drive excellence, collaboration and growth across the MICE ecosystem.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Events Manager (contract) to play a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of the Singapore MICE Forum (SMF) 2026, SACEOS flagship industry event taking place from 29-31 July 2026.

This role will work closely with the SMF Committee, partners and stakeholders to deliver a high-impact platform that fosters meaningful connections, drives industry dialogue and showcases Singapore's leadership in the global MICE landscape.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Planning & Coordination (SMF 2026)

• Support the development of SMF 2026's event concept, theme and programme in collaboration with the SMF Committee to ensure alignment with SACEOS strategic priorities and industry needs.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring event timelines, budgets and workplans to ensure the successful delivery of SMF 2026 from 29-31 July 2026.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for SMF Committee meetings, including scheduling, documentation and follow-ups.

2. Event Operations & Logistics

• Support the operational planning and execution of SMF 2026, including venue coordination, vendor procurement, contract management, logistics planning, registration systems, F&B arrangements, AV production and on-site event production & delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless set-up, live operations and tear-down across all three days of the Forum.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of SMF operations manuals, production schedules and contingency plans.
• Assist in sponsorship fulfilment, partnership activations and speaker management to enhance delegate experience and deliver value to stakeholders.

3.Delegate Recruitment & Engagement

• Support the implementation of strategies to recruit and engage participants for SMF 2026, including industry professionals, SACEOS members, partners and international delegates.
• Assist in outreach efforts through targeted campaigns, strategic partnerships and industry networks to drive attendance and participation.
• Work closely with the marketing and membership teams to support delegate engagement before, during and after SMF 2026.

4.Post-Event Evaluation & Reporting

• Assist in post-event evaluation for SMF 2026, including gathering delegate and stakeholder feedback, consolidating performance data and preparing post-event reports.
• Support the identification of insights and areas for improvement, and contribute ideas to strengthen future editions of the Singapore MICE Forum.
