About the role:
Th team is seeking an events manager to join their growing team. This is an important role where you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of diverse MICE projects.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of multiple MICE projects simultaneously, ensuring all project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact and translating their objectives into successful event strategies.
- Oversee logistical aspects, including venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, contract management and on-site event coordination.
- Develop, manage and reconcile project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with our internal teams (e.g., production, creative) and external partners to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, including live, hybrid and virtual event technologies to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in the MICE, events or hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- A natural problem-solver who can remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for the events industry.
