Role Overview
We are seeking a Workspace Technology Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance end-user workspace technologies across the organization. This role involves managing day-to-day operations while contributing to workspace design improvements and technology initiatives to enhance user experience, security, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
End-User Computing & Device Management
Manage device lifecycle processes including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Administer endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and/or SCCM.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint and workspace-related issues.
Workspace & Collaboration Technologies
Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Assist in enhancing collaboration and productivity tools.
Support virtual desktop and remote access solutions such as AVD or VDI environments.
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain endpoint security controls including BitLocker, Microsoft Defender, and compliance policies.
Support identity and access management using Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA, and Conditional Access.
Ensure workspace environments comply with internal security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
User Support & Operations
Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for workspace-related incidents and service requests.
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues.
Collaborate with Service Desk and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Participate in technology refresh programs, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
Identify opportunities for automation and innovation (including AI-driven improvements) to enhance user experience, stability, and security.
