Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development and data engineering teams to understand ETL processes and data flows.
- Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test case
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation for ETL testing activities.
- Validates data by running queries in the database and verify the results match the expectations
- Analyses and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root causes, logs the defects in HP Quality Centre/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects
- Solid understanding of databases and systems and the ability to communicate effectively across groups
- Works closely with the Software development team (Business Analysts, Developers)
