Able to understand quotation/tender requirements, prepare and submit offers/tenders as per requirements.
Assists in the preparation of quotation/tender submissions and pre-offer/tender pricing verification.
Sourcing of new vendors, compilation of quotations & comparisons of quotes. Reviews of costs/prices, selection of competitive costs/prices, and summarizing subcontracts, materials, and equipment.
Response to ad-hoc customer requests and handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Follow-up with customers on the status of submitted quotations/tenders and update the sales forecast on a routine basis.
Ensure quote activities are updated promptly in accordance with the Sales Department standard process.
Other ad-hoc reports and analysis.
Tele-sales skills/experience will be an advantage.
Requirement:
Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player
Good written and spoken English
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work under tight schedules and meet deadlines
