Equity Trader

We are currently partnering with a proprietary trading firm that is looking to hire an Equity Trader to join its growing team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy the firm's capital across US equities, identifying and executing high-conviction trading opportunities.
• Monitor market developments and conduct thematic research across growth-oriented sectors and emerging trends.
• Implement short-term and catalyst-driven trading strategies while adapting to changing market conditions.
• Manage portfolio risk through disciplined exposure management, trade sizing, and capital preservation practices.
• Evaluate trading performance regularly and refine approaches to enhance consistency and overall returns.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience trading US equities with a live track record.
• Background gained within a proprietary trading house, hedge fund, family office, or institutional investment platform.
• Demonstrated ability to generate returns using real capital, supported by verifiable performance records.
• Strong understanding of US market dynamics, trading catalysts, and risk management frameworks.
• Self-directed trader with the ability to independently develop views, execute trades, and take ownership of results.
