Job Description
Equities Research Analyst - Graduate Opportunity
Full-time. On-site . Reports to the Portfolio Manager . Open to All 2025/2026 Graduates in Singapore
About the Role
We are an investment firm focused on investing in the AI ecosystem. We invest in publicly listed companies in US, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
We are hiring an Equities Research Analyst to provide technical knowledge support to the portfolio manager. You will be the person who digests technical knowledge - a technology company earnings call or presentation, an article on a technology breakthrough, or a technology sector deep-dive report - and turns it into a clear view on which companies are worth investing in, and why.
This role is open to all fresh graduates in Singapore. No equities research, finance, or investment background is needed. Your work will be critical in helping the Portfolio Manager to decide the composition and direction of the portfolio.
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from all fresh graduates in Singapore. A STEM background (Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Materials Science, or related fields) is preferred, but it is not required.
What matters most is genuine, demonstrated passion for technology and AI. If you love reading about technology and analysing technological trends, this role is made for you.
What You Will Do
. Decode technology. Be the team's translator for hardware announcements, model architecture papers, technology roadmaps, and trade press across the AI value chain.
. Separate signal from hype. Identify technological shifts and judge what is technically real and economically meaningful.
. Track the ecosystem. We invest across the entire technology stack, so you will learn to identify the key issues affecting every sub-segment - semiconductors, equipment, hardware, and software alike.
. Monitor the stock universe. Stay on top of every company in the Portfolio Manager's coverage - earnings, news, broker reports, and any shift in the investment case.
. Collaborate. Turn your research into a clear view and discuss with the Portfolio Manager what it means for the sector as well as for individual stocks.
. Write. You will assist the Portfolio Manager in drafting internal and external reports.
Qualifications
. Education: A Bachelor's degree completed or expected by 2026, in any field. STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Data Science, or related) are preferred.
. Experience: No prior job experience required. Demonstrated engagement with technology or AI - through internships, personal projects, hackathons, competitions, research, or self-directed learning - is heavily favoured but not required.
. Curiosity & Communication: A genuine passion for AI hardware and software, and the ability to explain technical concepts in plain, intuitive language.
. Eligibility: Must be based in, or eligible to work in, Singapore.
. Nice to have: Ability to read technical materials or trade press in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean - useful for tracking APAC supply chain news first hand.
How to Apply
Submit your resume along with a one-page write-up on one technical trend in AI hardware, data center infrastructure, or AI model architecture from the past 12 months that you find genuinely interesting - and why. No cover letter or stock analysis needed.
