Job Description

Job Title: Equities Operations Analyst
Contract: 6 months (Extendable)
Location: Central, Singapore

Job Summary
We are looking for an Equities Operations Analyst to support Cash Equities within Global Banking & Markets Operations, covering client operations, trade lifecycle, onboarding, and controls. This is a Client-facing, middle-office role focused on smooth trade execution, settlement, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle including allocation, pre-matching, settlement, and fails management
  • Resolve trade breaks and ensure accurate processing of Cash Equities and single-name transactions
  • Support client onboarding, account setup, and Stock Connect (Northbound) activation in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate client reference data across the lifecycle
  • Act as a key contact for trade, onboarding, and execution-related queries, supporting complex issues
  • Ensure timely completion of operational controls and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Act as a key control point for onboarding and client change requests, identifying and mitigating operational risk
  • Drive automation, STP improvement, and workflow efficiency initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Technology, Compliance, and Operations to resolve issues and support business initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with client-facing experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and control frameworks
  • Proactive mindset with interest in automation, STP improvement, and process optimization
  • Experience in equities operations, middle office, or onboarding is advantageous.
