Job Description
Dyson Singapore is currently looking for an Equipment Technician to be based in our Singapore Advanced Manufacturing facility located in Pioneer to support our automated manufacturing lines.
Accountabilities:
- Minimize equipment downtime & ensure production meets target output & yield.
- Execute effective preventive maintenance & production line support.
- Provide first level trouble shooting & resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues
- Document & report all line stoppages due to equipment or technical issue.
- Perform process control checks where applicable. Minimize equipment downtime & ensure production meets target output & yield.
- Provide technical support to production operation in meeting output & quality.
- Participate in line set-up activities.
- Ensure workstations are in excellent 5S housekeeping condition.
- Work with engineers & production in continuous improvement projects.
Skills:
- At least 3 years of work experience in an automated line environment. ITC or Diploma in Mechatronic/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – minimum requirement
- Experience in servo motors and intelligent PC's is an added advantage
- Flexibility and initiative. You pre-empt problems and seize opportunities without waiting to be told.
- Collaborative working.
- You consistently share your knowledge and findings with others in a clear and accessible way.
- Willing to work shifts and overtime.
- Passion for solving and resolving issues.
