Equipment Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to enhance our automated manufacturing capabilities. This role focuses on maintaining equipment efficiency and supporting production targets.

Responsibilities

• Execute effective preventive maintenance and support for production lines. Provide first-level troubleshooting to resolve production halts due to equipment issues. Document and report all line stoppages attributable to equipment or technical issues. Ensure optimal functioning of equipment to meet production output and quality targets. Participate in line setup activities and process control checks as required. Maintain excellent housekeeping at workstations under 5S principles. Collaborate with engineers and production staff on continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: ITC or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in an automated line environment. Familiarity with servo motors and intelligent PCs is advantageous. Ability to identify various wires, signals, indicators, and labels essential for safe operations. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and act without prompting. Strong collaboration skills to effectively share knowledge and findings with team members. Willingness to work shifts and overtime as necessary.
