Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Resolve operational issues with equipment within short turnaround times, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Compliance and Scheduling: Ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements and maintain proper scheduling for operations.
- Trend Monitoring & Mitigation: Identify drifting trends in operations and equipment performance, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Deviation and Audit Support: Assist in managing deviations, supporting investigations, and participating in audit readiness.
- Spare Parts Management: Oversee inventory and management of critical spare parts to ensure operational continuity.
- Maintenance Leadership: Lead and manage maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Equipment Introduction and Renewal: Oversee equipment introductions, including new systems, renewals, and improvement projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships to align priorities and ensure smooth project execution.
- Resilience & Independence: Work independently, demonstrating resilience under pressure and agility in handling changes in the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Profile Sought:
- Educational Background: Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharma industry, with a focus on mechanical/process equipment.
- Exposure: Ideally, candidates should have experience in both upstream and downstream manufacturing operations.
- Leadership & Ownership: Ability to lead a maintenance team, manage projects from scratch, including URS, maintenance planning, and commissioning.
- Equipment & Process Expertise: Ability to balance both equipment and process ownership while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Strong can-do attitude, quick thinker, able to see the bigger picture, and solve problems with a proactive mindset.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to manage relationships and effectively handle stakeholder expectations.
