Job Description:
Gather customer requirements and perform pre-sales technical exchanges for assigned products
Manage projects and collaborate across departments (vision, manufacturing, engineering, and software) to optimise system design and ensure successful delivery
Host regular internal meetings to track project progress and align expectations
Set up, troubleshoot, and optimise equipment in collaboration with cross-functional engineers
Document engineering improvements, procedures, and best practices for assembly, inspection, and testing
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting on status and progress
Assist Product Supervisor in product planning, development, and execution
Travel to customer sites as required to support project implementation and technical issues
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
3+ years of experience in setting up automation equipment is advantageous
Familiarity with new product development processes, project management tools, and equipment industry project workflows
Strong knowledge of electro-mechatronic systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt tools/processes to new environments
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and independent working skills
Strong communication skills to liaise with all levels of the organization
Proactive, goal-oriented, results-driven, and able to work under pressure
Team player with a strong desire to learn and take on additional scope when needed
Willing and able to travel overseas to support customers
