Environmental Sustainability Manager

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Drive energy, water, and waste optimization across bus and rail operations.
• Conduct technical audits and implement performance improvements for buildings and fleets.
• Oversee environmental impact assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to integrate sustainability measures.
• Prepare technical and financial evaluations for sustainability investments and secure grants.
• Maintain ISO certifications (ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO46001).
• Collect and analyze environmental data for ESG reporting and sustainability communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Energy, or Sustainability Management.
• Preferred certifications: SCEM, GMP, EEO Assessor, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in energy management, sustainability, or facilities optimization.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with project management expertise.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Business acumen and results-oriented mindset.
