The Enterprise Presales Consultant will be responsible for working closely with customers and internal teams to design and propose enterprise technology solutions. The role involves a mix of client engagement, solution design, and collaboration with sales and technical teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and technology partners
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals for tenders, RFIs, and RFPs
- Conduct solution presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept exercises
- Design end-to-end enterprise solutions across different platforms and vendor technologies
- Collaborate with cross-domain presales specialists to create integrated solutions
- Partner with the sales team on account strategy and positioning of solutions
- Provide advisory input to customers on improving or enhancing their existing systems
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
- Take on project-related and ad-hoc duties as required
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in architecting, implementing, and managing large-scale IT systems involving multiple platforms and vendors
- Skilled in program and project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Effective communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, security, and industry best practices
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within teams
- Demonstrated success in leading high-value projects in government or commercial environments
- Able to manage multiple priorities and perform under tight deadlines
Qualifications & Background:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Around 8 years of experience in presales, solutioning, or enterprise IT roles
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, ITIL, PMP, MCSE, VCP, CCIA) would be beneficial
