Enrolled Nurse

Job Description

• Perform activities of daily living for residents.
• Perform assessment of residents on admission.
• Assist in administration of medication except controlled drugs and those that are injectables.
• Perform nasogastric tube insertion and feeding.
• Perform urinary catherization for female residents.
• Perform wound care and submit weekly wound update.
• Assist the staff nurse in maintaining and updating the inventory of the wards.
• Supervise or assist in serving of meals.
• Assist in performing procedures during emergency.
• Supervise and assist in the wards routines. Allocate assignments for the NAs and HAs.
• Ensure the wards are clean and tidy.
• Supervise, guide and teach the new staff, NAs and HAs in performing nursing procedures.
• Provide good customer service to the clients and customers.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the staff nurse

Job Requirement

• Overseas diploma/degree qualification in nursing but registerable in home country
• Overseas qualification in Nursing and has passed SNB examination.
• Local ITE qualification
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in hospital or nursing home overseas or locally
