We are a new tuition centre in Singapore specialising in preparation for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS). Our mission is to help international students gain admission into Singapore government MOE schools through structured, results-driven instruction. Our philosophy is to engage our students in settings of small teacher to student ratios, or preferably one to one direct tutoring.
We are seeking passionate and experienced English Language Teachers to prepare primary and secondary students for the AEIS English examination. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Singapore MOE English syllabus and understands the demands of AEIS components such as:
Reading comprehension
Vocabulary & grammar
Editing & cloze passages
Continuous writing (situational & composition)
Plan and deliver engaging AEIS-focused English lessons
Develop lesson materials, worksheets, and mock exam papers
Conduct regular assessments and track student progress
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Prepare students for exam techniques and time management
Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings
Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field
Minimum 2 years teaching experience (MOE / tuition centre preferred)
Familiarity with Singapore English syllabus (Primary / Secondary)
Experience teaching AEIS or international students is an advantage
Strong empathy for small classroom situations (up to one teacher to four students) management and communication skills
Passionate, patient, and student-centred
International School or MOE registered teacher (current or former)
Experience teaching ESL / EAL learners
