Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver creative, age-appropriate English and Chinese lessons covering reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
- Curriculum development and planning
- Incorporate activities like Speech & Drama, storytelling, games, and digital tools to make learning dynamic and fun for primary-aged children.
- Observe, evaluate student strengths/weaknesses, track progress, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere.
- Effectively communicate with parents regarding student performance and development.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Education or related studies
- Strong command of both English and Mandarin Chinese (written & spoken).
- Good knowledge of the Ministry of Education (MOE) syllabus.
- Experience teaching young learners (Primary/Elementary) or in enrichment/tuition centres
- Ability to create engaging, fresh, and interesting lessons.
- Patience, empathy, strong communication, and ability to work with diverse students and parents.
- Able to work on both weekends
