Engineering Technician

Job description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out intensive planned Preventive Maintenance program for all Utilities
• Draw out spare parts from storeman for machine repair/PM
• Carry out Preventive Maintenance for Air conditioning and Utilities based on PM schedule
• Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting and functional checks of aircond system to ensure serviceability
• Maintain and support plant facilities and Utilities equipment to meet cost, quality and productivity standard
• Assist in installation, modification and improvement works of utilities system
• Duty and responsibilities to ensure all work are carried out in a safe manner ,health and safety regulations
• Conduct troubleshooting and fault analysis, simple maintenance such as filter cleaning, oil change for the utilities equipment
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Min Diploma /Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or other related Engineering fields.
• Min 2 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety and workplace safety requirements
• Candidates holding Class 1 Boiler cert will be an advantage
• Willing to respond to emergency breakdowns when required
