Engineering Technician

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to support engineering and production teams in setting up, maintaining and operating semiconductor test and backend equipment. The role will also support test program verification, characterization and sample screening activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with setting up test equipment for engineering and production activities.
• Support the sustaining of Test and Backend Equipment, including Bench Testers, ATE Testers, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS and Laser Mark equipment.
• Perform test program correlation and reject verification activities.
• Prepare test hardware for remote testing, including loading test programs and performing sanity checks.
• Carry out characterization and sample screening based on internal engineering requirements.
• Support equipment and test activities in a semiconductor production and engineering environment.
• Perform other related technical duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, IT, Biochemical, Mechanical, Computer or Architecture Engineering; or
• Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, IT, Biochemical, Mechanical, Computer or Architecture-related disciplines.
• Experience in HTOL support is preferred.
• Experience with ATE testers is preferred; experience with Advantest 93K is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with handlers, probers, Thermostream testing equipment or bench test equipment.
• Experience working in a semiconductor production or engineering test facility.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform hands-on technical work.
• Willingness to work flexible, staggered or night shifts based on business requirements.
