We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support engineering and production teams with semiconductor test equipment setup, equipment sustaining, test program verification and characterization activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams in setting up test equipment for engineering and production activities.
- Support the sustaining of Test and Backend Equipment, including Bench Testers, ATE Testers, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS and Laser Mark equipment.
- Perform test program correlation and reject verification activities.
- Prepare test hardware for remote testing, including loading test programs and performing sanity checks.
- Carry out characterization or sample screening based on internal team requirements.
- Support engineering and production activities in a semiconductor test facility.
- Perform other related technical duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Biochemical, Mechanical, Computer or Architecture Engineering or
- Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Biochemical, Mechanical, Computer or Architecture-related disciplines.
- Experience supporting HTOL activities.
- Experience with ATE testers experience with Advantest 93K is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with handlers, probers, Thermostream testing equipment or bench test equipment.
- Experience working in a production or engineering semiconductor test facility.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work flexible, staggered or night shifts when required by business needs.
