Engineering Technical Specialist (5D/Jurong East) - YH

Salary : Basic up to $4.800
Working hour : Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm
Location : Jurong East

Job description:
The Technical Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting on-site fluid system services across complex projects. The role focuses on advanced technical diagnostics, site execution, and acting as a bridge between customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and identify business opportunities.

. Execute and support on-site engineering activities (including STEPS and FISO programs)

. Perform technical troubleshooting, leak testing, and supervision of fluid system installations

. Act as the main technical point-of-contact for complex issues, escalations, and quality concerns

. Conduct root cause analysis and prepare detailed technical reports with recommendations

. Coordinate site activities, including permits, logistics, and stakeholder communication

. Support training delivery, customer engagement, and service promotion activities

. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements:
. Minimum 3 years of relevant on-site experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or related industries

. Background in Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering (Diploma or Degree preferred)

. Strong hands-on experience with fluid systems and site-based work

. Ability to manage technical troubleshooting, coordination, and customer-facing responsibilities independently

. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
