Engineering Specialist (Media Equipment Maintenance)

About the role - you will:

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on media production equipment, including front washing and back-end systems.
• Execute product conversion, equipment setup, and upgrade activities to support production needs.
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce product defects and improve equipment reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment OEE, Lean Manufacturing, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Support and implement Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance automation and data-driven maintenance.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.

About you:

• Self-motivated and positive working attitude.
• Team player with good problem-solving skill and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
• Willing to work on 12 hours night shift pattern.

Your experience includes:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related Engineering Diploma or ITE.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in mechanical/electrical systems and automation conveyor systems.
• Troubleshooting Mechanical or Electrical Equipment is an advantage.
• Clean room experience will be an advantage.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
