Lead and oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of large turbine compressors and other rotating equipment.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
Supervise and coordinate on-site overhauls of large turbine compressors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and client requirements.
Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams and field technicians.
Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and service providers.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in rotating machinery maintenance.
Manage budgets, resources, and manpower for maintenance projects.
Conduct training and mentorship programs for junior engineers and technicians.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and technical discussions, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Fluent in English and Japanese (native-level proficiency in Japanese is required, as it is necessary to liaise work progress with the Japanese stakeholders and customers SV)
Minimum of 15 years of experience in rotating machinery maintenance and management.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for rotating equipment maintenance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a hands-on approach.
