Job Description

Core Responsibilities

1. Understanding Customer Requirements

  • Meet clients to understand technical and business needs
  • Analyze specifications, drawings, or project requirements
  • Recommend suitable engineering products or solutions

2. Technical Sales & Product Presentation

  • Explain technical features and benefits to customers
  • Conduct product demonstrations or presentations
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into practical business value

3. Preparing Quotations & Proposals

  • Generate pricing, cost estimates, and technical proposals
  • Coordinate with engineering/design teams for customized solutions
  • Prepare tender submissions and documentation

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, and procurement teams
  • Follow up on leads and ongoing projects
  • Handle negotiations, objections, and closing sales

5. Project Coordination

  • Liaise between customers and internal departments, engineering, production, logistics, after-sales support
  • Monitor delivery timelines and project progress

6. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Track industry trends and competitor products
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Attend trade shows, site visits, and networking events

7. After-Sales Support

  • Assist with troubleshooting or technical clarifications
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support warranty or maintenance discussions
