Job Description

Our client, a global technology and infrastructure company, is seeking a Projects Lawyer to join its team. The role will provide expert legal oversight on all aspects of large-scale strategic projects relating to the delivery of complete, operational facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the lead legal advisor for assigned facility development projects.

Provide proactive legal guidance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including real estate, construction, regulatory and environmental issues.

Negotiate and draft EPC contracts, design-build agreements, equipment supply contracts and service-level agreements.

Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management at local, national and international levels.

Work closely with all stakeholders to align legal strategy with business goals in order to ensure the efficient delivery of completed projects, on time and within budget.

Requirements

Qualified lawyer (JD or equivalent legal degree and admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction) with 8-12 years PQE.

Prior experience with a strong focus on infrastructure, construction, or real estate law.

Strong working knowledge of FDIC, NEC or other construction contract models.

Experience with handling legal matters in large-scale projects.

Preferred Attributes

In-house or secondment experience in major capital projects.

Experience in renewable energy, sustainability law, or green infrastructure projects.

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
